COMING SOON…

Several weeks ago, at something of a loose end, I sat down and started writing a little snippet of horror. Within an hour it became a prologue for something longer, within a day that something longer became the beginnings of a novella, and within thirteen days the entire first draft was written.

And though I’ve never compiled a bucket list, having a story fall out like that, no outlining, no discussion, no research, would certainly be on there. Twenty-thousand words in under two weeks is unheard of for someone as slow and deliberate as me.

So I’m thrilled to announce the pending arrival of Eyes Wide Open, a little horror tale set in the fictional seaside town of Hartmouth. I’ll sit on the draft for a month, then probably take another two to get the thing edited, proofread, and marketed.
